Yup's Test Results
Match Results
Ciphermask vs Yup
Gimmick Puppets vs. Geargia
Result of the Duel: Tester 0/2 - Testee 2/0
Winner: Testee
Deck Rating Total: 29/30
Main Deck Structure: 9/10
Main Deck Synergy: 5/5
Side Deck: 10/10 -
Side deck does well to do what it is meant to: counter the meta. Nothing too special, but it does as it needs to.
Extra Deck: 5/5 -
Had great variety and was able to cover many situations
Notes on Deck:
Pretty usual as a Geargia deck, but I was surprised by how well it was able to counter and float. The main deck Mind Crush seems unnecessary, but nothing to knock too hard on. It countered when it needed to and was pretty fast. The core of the deck was always available, which meant that there were almost always options.
Match Performance Total: 25/30
Use of Cards: 10/10
Concentration: 8/10
At one point, they forgot to draw off of Daigusto Emeral's effect.
Control of the Duel: 3/5
Siding Skills: 4/5
Sided in a pair of Maxx "C"s, but there were better things they had they could've sided (like Black Horn). I can't hit too hard because the Black Horns would've just stopped a few summons, which they eventually would've likely been able to deal with, but it would've helped if they beat them sooner.
Ruling Test Score: 6/10
Notes on Performance:
Played well and was able to stave off damage for a while. They effectively countered my stronger XYZ monsters while using few resources. There was a period where it seemed like the testee was stuck waiting, but this was eventually gotten over. They were able to effectively force me to use my back-up resources and push me into a heavy defensive, which I hadn't planned to do in round 2. They also showed knowledge where few do, the result concerning a Felgrand who negates Fiendish Chain for a turn. I have to say it was also a fun duel.
Final Score: 60/70
0-39 places you in Sphere Blue
40-59 places you in Prism Green
60-70 places you in Disigma Red.
To get Omega Purple, one must first achieve Disigma Red with at least a 67/70. Then he/she must contact a staff for the special Omega challenge. This is extremely difficult to accomplish; very few may even get the opportunity to try for Omega.
Welcome to Disigma Red, congratulations.
You played hard and well and showed me you knew what you were doing, spotting all of the little things that made a difference. I had fun with the duel because I was actually pushed to do more for once, which hasn't happened in a while. You were a good sport as well and you conducted yourself in a very nice way.
